RS-ProSort is RemaSawco’s complete board-handling system, developed for sawmills that want to maximize value recovery, efficiency, and traceability throughout the entire production flow. The system brings structure and control to green sorting, dry sorting, planing, and further processing by defining products, managing properties, and tracking boards and volumes in real time.

With its modular design, RS-ProSort can be tailored to the needs of any facility—from basic board tracking to full machine control. Thanks to open and standardized interfaces, the system can be combined with any machine supplier on the market, offering a complete and user-friendly solution from intake to finished package.

Seamless integration across the entire production flow

RS-ProSort is designed to integrate smoothly with both upstream and downstream systems. Production orders and production data can be transferred using standardized methods, streamlining administration, reducing potential error sources, and allowing full operational flexibility.

The system is optimized for integration with RemaSawco’s own products, but also provides standard interfaces for communication with systems from other suppliers.

System architecture

RS-ProSort consists of two primary layers:

• PC layer – manages product setup, runs, rules, and reporting.
• PLC layer – handles board tracking and machine control, supported by dedicated HMIs for easy monitoring and operation.

PC clients can be placed at any point along the line for optimal access during sorting, packaging, or supervision.
