Chief Executive Officer

The CEO role carries overall responsibility for RemaSawco’s business, growth, and long-term development. It is a distinctly commercial assignment with a strong emphasis on sales, market development, and the build-up of recurring revenue. A central part of the role is to translate the company’s technical strengths into clear commercial offerings that generate measurable customer value and sustainable profitability. The role combines strategic leadership with a pronounced operational presence in sales. The CEO is expected to actively lead the sales efforts, engage in strategically important customer dialogues, and personally drive and close complex deals with long sales cycles. The focus is on building business cases with clear ROI for the customer—often in capital-intensive investment environments where trust, sound business logic, and long-term relationships are essential. An important responsibility is to further develop the sales structure, offering, and business model to increase the share of recurring revenue, for example through software, services, and lifecycle-based contracts. The role also includes overall leadership of the company’s organization and culture, as well as responsibility for representing RemaSawco in relation to the board, owners, key customers, and strategic partners.

Travelling Service Technician

Are you a technically curious person who enjoys varying days, traveling and problem-solving in the field? Then this role as a traveling service technician at RemaSawco in Linköping could be your next step! RemaSawco has its support operations in Linköping - and is now looking for a service technician to join its growing team in Service & Support. Here, they work across the boundaries between technical areas where the atmosphere is helpful, educational and non-prestigious. The vision is clear: "Everyone should be able to do everything", and you will be an important part of that culture. The role belongs to the board side, which means that you work with RemaSawco's unique system that detects defects and optimizes boards, among other things. You will have a mentor who introduces you to the systems and teaches you everything you need to grow into the role. Spare Parts Coordinator

As Spare Parts Coordinator, you will be a key person in RemaSawco’s daily operations. You are responsible for the entire chain – from customer enquiry and quotation to packaging and delivery – and you ensure that each step is carried out with quality, precision, and good service. The role combines customer contact, administration, and hands-on work. You will handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, register orders, pick and dispatch spare parts, and help develop efficient routines. Since this is a new position, you will play a central role in building and shaping structures and ways of working – a responsibility well-suited to someone who enjoys ownership, order, and continuous improvement. You work closely with the Service Manager and collaborate with colleagues in both service and logistics.

Technical Sales Manager

As a Technical Sales Representative at RemaSawco, you are responsible for creating, developing, and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers in the sawmill industry. You work in a consultative and business-driven way, closely with the customer – focusing on understanding their needs and offering the right solutions from our product portfolio. You will be part of an experienced and collaborative sales team, where you are given clear responsibility for your market. The work is carried out in close cooperation with our product owners, technicians, and project managers. Travel is a natural part of the role – primarily within Sweden and Norway, but also to other parts of Europe. Data Engineer

RemaSawco is in an exciting phase of development and is now strengthening its team with key roles in AI and machine learning. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated development team of around 15 people, based in Linköping. The team works mainly on site, which creates strong conditions for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint problem-solving. Flexibility and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly valued here – you will have the opportunity to take responsibility in several areas and contribute to the company’s continued technical journey.In the role of Data Engineer, you work independently within a team and together with, among others, our ML specialist to ensure that the data is correct, efficient, and ready for analysis. You understand how data quality and structure affect the performance of the models, and you actively contribute with solutions for storage, performance, and scalability. The development team mainly works in C#, but the AI/ML development is done in Python using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. The ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new technologies and frameworks is highly valued, and experience from similar projects is crucial to succeed in the role.

You work closely with our Data Engineer and our domain experts, ensuring that experiments are reproducible, documented, and ready for further development.The development team mainly works in C#, but the AI/ML development is done in Python using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Senior Lead Engineer

As RemaSawco scales up its product development, the need is growing for a more modular product line that can easily be adapted to the varied needs and environments of RemaSawco’s customers. To build a coherent product line with a long life cycle, we need someone who owns the architecture and has the systems thinking required to create strong conditions for continued product development.In the role of Senior Lead Engineer, you are responsible for the design of the entire system, including mechanical, electrical and automation aspects. You must be able to translate requirements into functional and optimized solutions. The focus is on reducing complexity by streamlining the product line and decreasing the number of customer-specific adaptations, by making the system more modular and thereby facilitating implementation, ongoing development and maintenance. You lead cross-functional engineering teams, are responsible for the system architecture, and ensure that all technical disciplines interact in an optimal way to achieve high performance, reliability and quality.
