We’re proud to present RS-Opt version 4.0.0, the next step in our optimization solution that helps sawmills get the most value out of every log and board.
This release is all about giving operators more control, better overview, and stronger decision support, both in real-time and in analysis.
Here are some of the highlights in RS-Opt 4.0.0:

✅ More information directly in the operator view – such as yield, value, and mandatory breakdowns
✅ More flexible and clearer presentation with movable columns, color-coded sawing programs, and selectable breakdown format
✅ New capabilities in production monitoring – including monitoring of product groups
✅ New chart in the simulation client: actual value based on diameter
✅ Improved handling of center breakdowns – for both free and fixed optimization
And that’s not all…
RS-Opt can also utilize multiple data sources such as 3D data, log data, quality and X-ray information, and offers everything from free- and block optimization to curve sawing and price- or volume based optimization.
It also supports recordings, batch simulations, comparisons and detailed reports, giving you a solid foundation for decisions in both production and development.
